The worst part of any trip away is the look on your kitty’s face as you drop him or her off at the ever-so-nice cattery. We feline fanatics know that our perfect balls of fur prefer to be home alone, rather than mix with the great unwashed.

About Me

I am Carol Ames and I’m not ashamed to say that I’m cat mad. I’ve had cats all my life.

Young Cats

I’ve reared a kitten from just two weeks old after his mother was killed.

Old Cats

I’ve recently lost Thomas at 20 years old, who was on daily jabs & tablets.

All Kinds of Cats

Amputees, slightly mad and spoilt rotten cats, I’ve had them all. I’m currently lucky enough to have two wonderful youngsters, Kevin & Colin.

Cat Care

I’ve always struggled to find stay at home care for my cats by someone who loves cats as much as I do. This is why I started North Dorset Cat Care.

I don’t move into your house! I visit twice a day, spending time to stroke, play with or groom your feline friends. I will change litter trays, wash & replenish food and water bowls, and administer any required medications.

An Affordable Option

Much cheaper than a house sitter or a cattery, I offer a very competitive flat rate for up to three cats (at the same address). I’ll also remove post from view and water houseplants!

If you have more than three cats or have more complex requests, please get in touch and we can discuss them.

Other Pets

I also offer holiday hen care – especially for ex-battery hens – and rabbit holiday care.

I have many years’ experience in dealing with these lovely animals.
